How is payment processed?
Checkout runs on PayFast, a South African payment provider. Your card details are entered on their secure page. We never see or store them. Prices are shown in US dollars, but PayFast charges in South African Rand, so your bank applies its own conversion rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee.
When does Premium activate?
After PayFast confirms the first payment to our server (usually within seconds). The success page updates automatically once your account is upgraded.
How does the subscription work?
Choose the seven-day introduction or subscribe immediately. The introductory payment is credited toward your first monthly payment. Your checkout shows what is due today, what comes next, and the ongoing monthly rate. Cancel future billing anytime from your profile.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes, cancel anytime from your profile. Billing stops and you keep Premium until the end of the access period you've already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. For a refund, email support@chessblues.com within 7 days of a payment and we'll refund it in full, no reason needed. South African law also gives you a 7-day cooling-off right.
